Dr. Kármen Kovács

Kármen Kovács graduated at the University of Pécs, Faculty of Business and Economics in 2002. She defended her PhD dissertation with summa cum laude in 2007, then she habilitated successfully in 2015. She also participated in scientometric education. She worked in the Library of the Faculties of Business and Economics and Law of the University of Pécs from 2004 till 2008 August. She was an assistant professor from 2008 September at the University of Pécs, Faculty of Business and Economics. She has been an associate professor from 2016 July at the Faculty. She teaches research methods, mathematics, business economics and behavioural economics. Her major research interest is behavioural economics regarding consumption. For the academic year 2016/17, she received a postdoctoral scholarship by the New National Excellence Program of the Ministry of Human Capacities. She receives the János Bolyai Research Fellowship of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences between 2017 and 2020.
